Here at MVP, we provide full-service veterinary care for all classes of Equines.
From pasture buddies to elite performance horses, we know how special and important our equine companions are to our clients.
That's why MVP is dedicated to servicing our clients with the utmost professional care and concern.
Mobile Veterinary Practice is an equine exclusive practice located in Amarillo, Texas. We have three full-time veterinarians, Dr. Chris Morrow, Dr. Katelyn Waggoner and Dr. Maggie Pomeroy. We also employ between ten and fifteen dedicated technicians. MVP offers appointments at our clinic, mobile services, as well as after-hours emergency services for our established clients.

Wellness Program
A Wellness Program is a detailed schedule tailor made for your horse. It includes a yearly physical exam, a vaccination schedule, deworming program, dental care, ear tick exam and sheath cleaning.
Reproduction
Artificial Insemination, Embryo Transfer, Stallion Collection and Semen Processing (Cooled or Frozen), Foaling Mare Care, Neonatal Care
Equine Medical Care
Endoscopy, On-Site Hematology, and Chemistry Evaluations, Wound Care, Medical Diagnostics and Treatment as well as a Closed Circuit Monitoring System for critical cases.
Laser Therapy
Regenerative Laser Therapy (RLT) is safe, non-invasive light delivered in energetic pulses that penetrate deep into the tissue, creating a photo-acoustic wave that has been shown to regenerate tissue, re-align fibers, reduce scar tissue, and provide comfort to horses.
Alternative Therapies
Chiropractic adjustments and acupuncture treatments to aid your equine athletes and companions in addition to adjunct therapy for internal medicine cases.

DOCTORS
After years with Timbercreek Veterinary Practice, Dr. Chris Morrow branched out on his own along with his wife Kristi, opening the Mobile Veterinary Practice on January 1, 2006. Dr. Morrow specializes in Equine Sports Medicine and Equine Reproduction. Chris is a 1997 graduate of Colorado State University Veterinary Program. He enjoys his off-time team roping and spending time with his wife, Kristi, and their two children Maci and Jonas.

Katelyn Waggoner, DVM
Dr. Katelyn Waggoner grew up in Los Alamos, New Mexico. She attended Texas Tech University for her bachelor’s degree in animal science and Washington State University for her DVM. Katelyn specializes in alternative therapies like chiropractic and acupuncture, but she also enjoys lameness, internal medicine, and preventative health. Dr. Waggoner resides in Amarillo with her husband, Corey, and their two sons, Casey and Kolby.
